point were I doubt I will vote at
all.

Today, as I was on the way to my doctor’s visit, I was shocked to see the numerous posters on people’s lawns supporting Linda McMahon in my home town. OMG!!! Today I also watched one of the first negative ads describing Linda’s hidden repertoire for
the plans for our nation if elected. As many companies have, she moved some of her family business overseas to save herself taxes, plans to give a healthy tax break to the wealthy, including a pay raise for herself, and to make cuts to Medicare and other programs that help the
middle to lower class Americans. People can close their eyes and ignore what Mrs.McMahon truly plans to do when she is in office, then they can yell, scream and complain at their leisure. Her political ad has a bunch (I’m sure personal friends) saying how open she is to the public without putting on
airs and how she makes them feel that she is one of them. Oh wow. I personally don’t know how it feels to be a mutimillionaire, I guess her neighbors do. These are the politicians that I wish the public would do more research on before casting their vote.
Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling:
“I could end the deficit in 5 minutes,” he told CNBC. “You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of
GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election.
The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 – before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc.
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land – all because of public pressure.
Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their
address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.
Congressional Reform Act of 2012
1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they’re out of office.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the
lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Don’t you think it’s time?
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!
These ideas are similar to the ones I mentioned in my book “What the Hell is Wrong with the US Government or How Truly Easy it is to Balance the Budget or Budget Balancing for Idiots (101) or the US Senate” which was published in August of last year.
As long as I live, I will never forget Neil Armstrong as I watched on my black and white TV and heard Neil’s famous words – “One small step for man. One giant leap for mankind”. What a phenomenal moment in time and history, and what beautiful
words to use to mark the
occassion. His words could not have been more perfect as he stepped down the ladder exiting the Eagle. It was a moment that brought such pride and wonder to every American’s heart. Our country was in a debacle called Vietnam and it was 1969. It would have been the last year in which our country could have kept the promise that John F. Kennedy made about putting a man on the moon in this decade. There have
been very few moments such as this in the 20th century. May Neil Armstrong rest in peace because he not only made us proud, but he also made our dreams come true.

Hello folksI If you are reading this article, you should be AFRAIND, VERY AFRAID. We do not have a candidate in which we can trust, believe
they have the American public’s best interest in mind, nor have our and our children’s future in mind,
and can place our hopes in. Please check out and get the feel of our nations’ very low poll standings for
these 4 men. Can they really be trusted with so much to hide? Also please join the HuffPostLive 3, 2, 1 starting Monday at 10 am – 10 pm and FINALLY give the American people a Voice.

Dear Ms. Morel,
I am most grateful and honored to join your live conversation post community. I am sorry for the delay in responding to your request but I have just received my laptop last weekend after being worked on for a month after crashin
g. Then, after spending a couple of days checking over my files, I came down with a very contagious upper respiratory infection that kept me in bed with 103 temps and hoarse from continuous coughing. I am barely back on my feet and still somewhat voiceless, but I wanted to respond to you to inform you of my situation at the moment and that I hope to be able to provide you with my video before the cut-off date.
More importantly, since this being an election year, the American Public need to have their voices heard. I thank you and Huffington Post for allowing us a wider venue in which to share our views and hopes.
Sincerely,
Emma R. Sullivan
