I wrote my take on Linda McMahon, now its Chris Murphy’s turn. He has been in the senate for quite a while now and has Connecticut gotten any better with him in office? I don’t. As I have said before, some but not all, of these politicians get elect
ed and do nothing but collect a paycheck until it is election time again. Then you see them try and accomplish at least one of their campaign promises in a rush while running a campaign. If Linda McMahon’s ads on Murphy’s senate attendance and lack of senate votes
due to not wanting to be branded because of them are true, he should be thrown
out of his seat. Has anything really changed thanks to Murphy? Let me think. NO! Not one solitary thing has changed since he took office. Unemployment lines getting larger, more people applying for food stamps, more people losing their jobs that are moved overseas. Whoops, excuse me, for there is a change – FOR THE WORST! Now my question to my fellow Connecticut voters is, which is the better of the two evils?
These will be my last blogs before my computer goes to the shop. As I did for the the DNC, my friends and followers couldn’t wait to hear what I felt about the RNC. Well folks, here we go ! First and foremost let me get this out of the way. I thought Clint Eastwood was brilliant ! It takes a person with a lot of guts to put a comedic routine like that at a venue like that, so BRAVO CLINT ! The whole time that I was waiting for Romney to step up to speak, I kept saying to myself “Please for the love of God and country, do not only bad mouth Obama. Speak about your plans to help your country (economy, war, etc.)”. Well folks, was I DISAPPOINTED! That was all he talked about. He lost his big chance for him to get us to know him better and what he planned, as commander-in-chief, to do to get our nation back on it’s feet and off it’s knees. One of my followers asked if I noticed Romney’s eyes as he spoke and I replied “Yep. They are like dolls eyes, cold and lifeless”.
If I were up there speaking to my fellow Americans I would have tears in my eyes. For we were once a great and powerful nation (and don’t try and sell me with “We still are”, cause all that is made in America are cars, cast iron frying pans and anything having to do with military. Oh, and by the way, try and sell it to all the unemployed Americans).
That is why, I believe, there are so many family tragedies (such as murders) due to people unable to provide for their loved ones. It cuts to the very core of one’s soul not to be able to provide for your family. Neither one mentioned what they planned on doing to bring us back to where we once were. Another one of my followers wrote to me “You will never see it again”, which saddened me and also made me face the truth because she may be right! The strength we need in a leader today is a person who would stand up for US and not ship jobs to foreign countries at the cost of our nation’s pride and welfare just so those corporations can have a bigger bottom line. I am not naive enough to believe that the corporations
do not fund our next president’s campaign. And to PLEASE relinquish NAFTA (Not a F—–g Thing Accomplished(r)) which sent our jobs overseas and made the corporations richer. So dear Americans, there is my take on both of our candidates. Jesse Ventura was on the View today (a show I rarely watch) and he said that the senate are like street gangs, that is why nothing gets done. So if you don’t like either candidate, scratch their names off the ballot and put the name of someone you feel is of worth in.
God Bless America!
After mentioning the many problems I’ve
been having with my laptop as of late, my better half ordered me a new laptop in peacock blue. I should receive it by Friday. My son asked me what I needed cause Dad asked him to ask me what I wanted or
needed. So I told him that I needed a new cell phone because, I can have my phone fully charged, make one call
and while talking I hear the beep beep telling me that my cell phone battery is low and when I finish with the call it turns itself off. Annoying. He says “that’s easy enough” as I’m laughing on the inside. But he. won’t get a peep from me LOL. A lot of sad specials being shown reminding us of 9/11. So sad cause the saddness seems to carry on into my birthday, due to the fact I was born 4 blocks from the World Trade Center, it was my hometown and it still hurts me deeply. I’ve only gone once since it happened and it was more than I could ever endure again.
Unfortunately, my dear fans, followers, and family,
I am once again having trouble with my laptop and will have a tough time posting my blog about the DNC. I read all your comments on how you are looking forward to read my take on this conven
tion after reading about my take on the RNC. I will be writing it up until I get my laptop
repaired and if I can work on a family member’s machine, I will post it from there. So, I hope to get in touch with you all soon.

We have lost so many of our brightest stars in the last year and a half and the tragedies just keep on coming. They brought us such joy with their talent that it was heart wrenching to hear of their passing. I had the honor of seeing Michael
Jackson and even Frank Sinatra perform in
person and it was performances that I will never forget in my lifetime. Now Michael Clark Duncan, a man who looked so strong and fit to die of a coronary? Also the guitarist of Jefferson Starship has passed on. We never know when our time is up so it is best to enjoy and cherish these talented folks while they are still with us. God Bless and RIP.

Thank you to all our dear soldiers and their families. My dearest wish is that our next appointed
that we have spent enough lives, money and support in Iraq and Afghanistan and that it is about time for them to protect and govern themselves and to bring all our servicemen and women home to help serve and protect our own homeland. God Bless.
