These will be my last blogs before my computer goes to the shop. As I did for the the DNC, my friends and followers couldn’t wait to hear what I felt about the RNC. Well folks, here we go ! First and foremost let me get this out of the way. I thought Clint Eastwood was brilliant ! It takes a person with a lot of guts to put a comedic routine like that at a venue like that, so BRAVO CLINT ! The whole time that I was waiting for Romney to step up to speak, I kept saying to myself “Please for the love of God and country, do not only bad mouth Obama. Speak about your plans to help your country (economy, war, etc.)”. Well folks, was I DISAPPOINTED! That was all he talked about. He lost his big chance for him to get us to know him better and what he planned, as commander-in-chief, to do to get our nation back on it’s feet and off it’s knees. One of my followers asked if I noticed Romney’s eyes as he spoke and I replied “Yep. They are like dolls eyes, cold and lifeless”.
If I were up there speaking to my fellow Americans I would have tears in my eyes. For we were once a great and powerful nation (and don’t try and sell me with “We still are”, cause all that is made in America are cars, cast iron frying pans and anything having to do with military. Oh, and by the way, try and sell it to all the unemployed Americans).
That is why, I believe, there are so many family tragedies (such as murders) due to people unable to provide for their loved ones. It cuts to the very core of one’s soul not to be able to provide for your family. Neither one mentioned what they planned on doing to bring us back to where we once were. Another one of my followers wrote to me “You will never see it again”, which saddened me and also made me face the truth because she may be right! The strength we need in a leader today is a person who would stand up for US and not ship jobs to foreign countries at the cost of our nation’s pride and welfare just so those corporations can have a bigger bottom line. I am not naive enough to believe that the corporations
do not fund our next president’s campaign. And to PLEASE relinquish NAFTA (Not a F—–g Thing Accomplished(r)) which sent our jobs overseas and made the corporations richer. So dear Americans, there is my take on both of our candidates. Jesse Ventura was on the View today (a show I rarely watch) and he said that the senate are like street gangs, that is why nothing gets done. So if you don’t like either candidate, scratch their names off the ballot and put the name of someone you feel is of worth in.
God Bless America!
